Brookings-Harbor Garden Club (BHGC) is a volunteer organization dedicated to being good stewards of the earth through beautification, conservation and education while sharing the love for gardening. Since 1990, one of the main focuses of the Brookings-Harbor Garden Club has been the creation and maintenance of the Brookings Oregon Botanical Garden. Now in our 4th decade we continue to build from our past, as we bridge into the future.
One of the ways we can have a positive impact on the future is by providing educational opportunities for the next generation. All the proceeds from your generous purchase goes towards $1,000 scholarships for high school seniors. They will be furthering their education in agriculture, environmental science, forestry, sustainability, landscape design and other ecologically relevant degrees. Every single dollar goes directly to our scholarship fund. The more bulbs brighten up your garden or a friend’s, the more scholarships we can give out.
