Our club is completely volunteer driven and the board members are consistently guiding the group...acting as not only board members with duties to fulfill, but chairing and co-chairing committees as each event is added throughout the year...developing teams who work together for a common goal.

There is a monthly general membership meeting to keep our volunteers informed and involved to whatever level they feel comfortable. Those who have past experience will mentor those who are new, which is how we keep ideas fresh and work toward future goals.

There is the Azalea Festival in May, to include the Flower Show & Plant Sale, the Azalea Festival Parade, the Holiday Light show, beach clean-up operations, and much, much more!

If you want to meet more people in our Brookings-Harbor community, there is no quicker way than hanging out with people who have a passion for getting together and having fun!

Our Club's Mission & Vision

The Brookings-Harbor Garden Club has been a fixture in the coastal town of Brookings, Oregon since the early 1970’s.

As a local 501 (c)(3) non-profit, The Brookings-Harbor Garden Club (BHGC) is a volunteer organization dedicated to being good stewards of the earth through beautification, conservation and education while sharing the love for gardening.

In the past, one of the main focuses of BHGC has been the creation and maintenance of the Brookings Botanical Garden since 1990. Now in our 4^th decade we continue to build from our past, as we bridge into the future for the benefit of our community and our planet.

Going forward, the club's focus has extended to raising awareness of community needs and where we can use our volunteer and financial resources in the best way possible.

Membership is FREE & open to all who share our passions - Come Grow with US!
